This October the TLA staff celebrated our Parents once again with our own version of Parent Appreciation Week. Classroom teachers, floor staff, and administration all participated in celebrating our parents. Each day we treated our parents in a different way: Monday - bottles of water, because we know how kids can make you sweat, Tuesday - lavender stress putty made by the Inventors three year old class, Wednesday - muffins in the morning because 'We are muffin without our TLA parents!', Thursday - pre-k students helped us serve sugar cookies and lemonade to parents during pick-up time, and Friday - a trail mix bar was provided because we are Grateful for Our Remarkable Parents (G.O.R.P.). We look forward to doing this again, because we REALLY are thankful that they chose us to entrust with the care and teaching of their children.
