Train up a child in the way he should go;                  even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Let us help you find a program to fit the needs of your family. We can't wait to help your child and family grow stronger together in Christ.

Half-Day Program
(2 yrs. - pre-k)

Explore. Create. Develop.

Our half-day preschool is a beneficial option for a stay-at-home parent or a parent who works part-time and desires to give their child an opportunity to learn the necessary social skills and educational basics for development. Our program serves ages two through pre-kindergarten.

The hours that your child attends our half-day program are filled with play-oriented learning sessions, a healthy snack, and outdoor activities.

We make every effort to encourage the students in our half-day preschool to explore, create, and develop. Our One in Christ curricula consists of: Pre-math skills, reading and writing readiness, science discovery, exploring cultures, Leadership Academy-character development (for our Pre-K), Kids in the Kitchen, Music and Movement, Bible time and weekly chapel.

Two of our main objectives are to make learning fun and to equip each child with a love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. We gather together each day for morning assembly and we end our day on the playground. The middle part of our day is filled with creative learning activities.

Parents can look forward to a weekly message about our upcoming learning objectives and special events.

If you are considering this program for your child, you have the option to choose to send your child 2, 3, or 5 days a week. This program begins at 9 am and ends at 12 pm with an optional lunch bunch hour from 12 pm - 1 pm. The half day program begins on the last week of August and ends in mid-May. It follows the Clarke County School District holidays for Christmas and Spring Break.

Full-Day Program

(6 wks. - pre-k)

Growing Stronger Together

The Athens, GA childcare program your child participates in during his formative years will do much to strengthen his or her growth and understanding of the world. Many programs or daycare centers will gladly take in your child and provide protection and care, but at TLA, we take steps beyond basic care and offer your child a chance at a quality education and a foundation in faith-based learning for ages 6 weeks old through pre-kindergarten.

The Difference Starts Here

Trinity starts each and every day with prayer & devotion. We provide a full curriculum entitled "One in Christ" that is varied, dynamic, and age-appropriate. All of our programs focus on creating good habits and manners for any situation a young child might encounter.

During a typical day at TLA you can expect your child to be involved in:

  • Bible Time

  • Music and Movement (physical education)

  • Literacy

  • Science exploration

  • Math and counting

  • Nutritious meals and snacks

  • Quiet rest time

  • Outdoor play

We also have some regularly scheduled "special" activities that add value to a child's play and learning experience. Rather than taking children off campus on field trips, we have special guests come to us with presentations and to lead us in special activities.

If you are considering the Full Day Program for your child, your child may attend between 6 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday. This program runs year-round and does it's best to accommodate the full time working parent.
